• Mercury Transit 2003 : As stated by National Council of science Museum- North Bengal Science Center was the only center under NCSM through out the whole country that could successfully shoot Mercury Transit in 2003. Under its collaboration with NB Science Center, SWAN did the entire shooting planning and Debasis Sarkar of SWAN took the pictures using the Science Center resources.
• Special public Presentation on Moon as a part of the initiative on  International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN).
